Meet
Dr. Alicia Bruchman, DVM
Dr. Bruchman was born and raised in Arizona. She grew up in Gilbert, AZ back when Gilbert was mostly farm land and agricultural areas. Her first word was “horse” and she has been enamored with horses ever since. Dr. Bruchman attended Grand Canyon University where she got a degree in Biology and Chemistry. She then attended Colorado State University for her Veterinary degree. Upon completion of her veterinary degree she moved to Flagstaff where she met her husband. They have two young children and lead a very active lifestyle. Dr. Bruchman has four horses ranging from a draft down to a miniature horse, 3 dogs and chickens. In her free time she loves to trail ride, hike, and bake.
Dr. Bruchman has a heart for community. Multiple times a year she organizes an equine wellness clinic on the reservation where they provide dentistry, castrations, physical exams, vaccinations and lab work screenings. She also hosts community education events around Northern Arizona and is involved with the local 4H and pre-veterinary students.

Why Eclipse Veterinary Services?
Eclipse was the first dog that Dr. Bruchman had that was truly her “own”. Eclipse was a lanky German Shepherd mix puppy that captured her heart at a local animal shelter on Dr. Bruchman’s 17th birthday. Eclipse was naturally the best dog and was one of those dogs that never met a stranger. She loved everyone and especially loved going on all the adventures. She traveled to vet school with Dr. Bruchman where she was commonly found helping to teach the veterinary students in labs and soliciting all the attention that she could.
Eclipse was a dog that made an impact on Dr. Bruchman’s life and got her through some of life’s biggest milestones. Eclipse is greatly missed but her life positively touched all those who met her.
